How to apply:
The 2024 grant round is now open.
Applications close end of Term 2, Friday 05 July 2024.
- Membership at the site must come together and agree to apply.
This process involves creating a formal motion - you'll find an example below. The motion can then be voted on by the membership.

Once the motion is passed, you can submit an application.
This will include supplying a detailed quote and showing that one or more educators at your site will use the opportunity to deliver aspects of the sustainability curriculum. If you're finding the application process tricky, contact your Organiser to help you out.

Our Environmental Sustainability Consultative Committee will convene to assess all applications, and then get in touch with everyone who applied. If your site doesn't receive a grant in this round, you'll be automatically considered for the next round.
Example motion:
The SITE NAME AEU sub-branch requests that the AEU (SA Branch) Environmental Sustainability Consultative Committee consider the SITE NAME application for the AEU Edible/Shade garden grant.
