Branch Council

Branch Council is the supreme decision making body of the Union, determining policy, setting priorities and appointing Administrative Officers. Branch Council meets four times a year on a Saturday.  Branch Council delegates are elected annually in an election conducted by the Australian Electoral Commission. The number of delegates representing each Area is determined based on the number of financial members at 31 October in the preceding year.
