Details:
Identify essential components to setting up a whole school approach. Supporting students with additional needs is essential to ensuring they are able to learn in a positive and inclusive environment. Teachers are very good at responding to the needs of students in their class but this can sometimes lead to situations where there are different practices and strategies being used in different classrooms. Support for those students is most often successful where there are structures put into place as a whole school to ensure that all staff involved are consistent when implementing strategies. This session will explore the key components and understanding requires to ensure that a successful strategy can be put in place for all staff and students.
