April Journal published

8 April 2022

The first edition of the AEU Journal for 2022 has been published, delayed by the effects of the pandemic on our workloads and staffing as we began the 2022 education year.

The April 2022 edition is now available for reading online. Clicking on the centre of the image on the left will open a full-screen reader.

The print edition is also on its way to sites and members.

This edition's cover highlights "Give more than thanks" to educators. Members are under additional pressure as COVID adds to existing staff shortages, and collective action is needed to secure your industrial rights and workplace safety in these times. This theme is echoed in Andrew Gohl's and Jan Murphy's articles.

Also in this edition:

  • How to show support for student climate action
  • TAFE member action saves an Agreement
  • Gonski: A decade on
  • It's time to reflect on 'World Class' education
  • Gender equity and the Federal election

and much more.

If you are unable to view the Journal through the link, you can download a PDF version here.

Selected content is also published as webpages here.
