A 2-day conference for new teachers featuring workshops on current issues and classroom management.

Day 1: Friday 04 May 2018 , 09:15am to 3:30pm

Day 2: Saturday 05 May 2018 ,09:15am to 2:00pm

Open to :

Only financial AEU SA members in their first three years of teaching. Priority will be given to members who have not attended AEUSA New Educators State Conference previously.
Student members are not eligible to attend this conference. We recommend student members consider registering for the AEU Meet the Principal seminars to be held in Term 2.

Program will be available later in Term1. This conference is likely to book out in advance.

This workshop has been mapped against the following Australian Professional Standards for Teachers

7.2 Comply with legislative, administrative and organisational requirements
7.4 Engage with professional teaching networks and broader communities

Lunch, relief staff and travel assistance are all provided by the AEU SA.

Travel Assistance:

Members requiring country travel and accommodation assistance must not make their own arrangements, but should provide preferences for travel (eg. flight/drive) on their registration form and then contact Lina Candiotto at the AEU who will make the necessary bookings. Late registrations may not be able to have travel funded.
