Identified AEU representatives (eg SBS, SSO Contact, Women’s Contact and AEU PAC Rep who have completed training in the last 10 years or who have successfully held the position for 5+ years).

Aim:
To build skills and knowledge of experienced AEU position holders.
Objectives:
- Build worker understanding of union values and embed these values in decisions mad at Sub Branch level.
- Create and enact plans regarding member consultation and grievance resolution procedures.
- Build membership at the site via recruitment of new members.
This course has been mapped against the following Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
7.2 Comply with legislative, administrative and organisation requirements
7.4 Engage with professional teaching networks and broader communities.
Lunch, relief staff and travel assistance are all provided by the AEU SA.
