A two day Union Training course

Session 1: Friday 1 March 2019, 1.30pm - 4.30pm
Session 2: To be decided

Open to:

TAFE workgroup representatives.


Aim: 

To develop the knowledge and skills of union representatives in both terms of industrial and practical information, consultation methods and processes.

Objectives:

  • Discuss union values at their site. Build work understanding of union values.
  • Increase knowledge regarding meeting procedure, ethical consultation and union processes.
  • Develop understanding of Enterprise Bargaining process and implementation.
  • Identify members at their site and map membership data. Invite staff to join their union.

Afternoon Tea and travel assistance (on request and discussion) are all provided by the AEU SA.

Travel Assistance:

Members requiring country travel and accommodation assistance must not make their own arrangements, but should provide preferences for travel (eg. flight/drive) on their registration form and then contact Lina Candiotto at the AEU who will make the necessary bookings. To contact Lina, please email [email protected], or phone 8172 6300.
